Claim Academy offers an online bootcamp in cybersecurity. The bootcamp provider also offers this bootcamp in person in St. Louis. Students do not need to have prior experience in cybersecurity before enrolling in the program. However, they must be able to handle the programming challenges presented during the application process. The instructors take time to help students and answer questions before, during, and after class.

The application process starts with an interview. Students who do well in the interview can then register for free pre-coursework that provides students with an opportunity to determine whether they are ready to enroll in the program.

Code Fellows offers a series of cybersecurity courses that increase in difficulty as you go, starting with Ops 101 and leading up to Ops 401. The first standalone course in the series is intended as an opportunity for those brand new to cybersecurity to get their feet wet before deciding if they want to progress further; it takes eight hours to complete and costs $99.

Code Fellows’ cybersecurity courses get longer and more expensive as students progress through the series, ending with the 10-week Ops 401 course, which costs $12,000 and helps students kick-start their cybersecurity careers.

Digital Creative Institute offers an eight-week cybersecurity bootcamp that introduces topics like computer networking, Linux and Bash scripts, and system and network security foundations.

Students can also opt to enroll in a 12-week bootcamp that includes four additional weeks of job preparation. Students learn how to present their portfolios and practice job interview skills. Students who complete the 12-week program get one free attempt at passing the CompTIA Security+ test.

Digital Creative Institute also offers an apprenticeship program that allows qualifying students to learn while working 40 hours per week at a cybersecurity job. Students complete lessons and projects on the evenings and weekends.

Eleven Fifty Academy offers a 14-week, full-time cybersecurity bootcamp and a 26-week, part-time cybersecurity bootcamp. Students can complete their bootcamp online or in person in downtown Indianapolis, and applicants do not need to have a cybersecurity background.

This online cybersecurity bootcamp provides immersive learning experiences, portfolio development assistance, and career services. Students learn the skills needed to take the CompTIA Network+ and CompTIA Security+ certification exams, and learn how to build and operate a security operations center.

Flatiron School offers an online cybersecurity analytics bootcamp that provides 480 hours of training, whether students take the program on a full-time or part-time basis. The program prepares students for work as security operations center analysts, security consultants, threat intel analysts, and compliance analysts.

The online program combines real-time lectures with self-directed learning to provide a sense of community while allowing some flexibility. The instructors have experience in the cybersecurity industry, which helps students learn more quickly. About half of the classroom time is reserved for hands-on work in the bootcamp’s cyber range.

Flatiron School also offers a 15-week, full-time cybersecurity engineering bootcamp for students interested in learning in person.

Jax Code Academy offers a cybersecurity bootcamp online that lasts 12 weeks. The program teaches students how to protect networks and systems from cyberattacks. Students can attend in person, online, or participate in a hybrid program.

This cybersecurity online bootcamp provides students with the skills and knowledge they need to sit for the following exams: Certified Ethical Hacker, CompTIA Security+, Certified Information Security Manager, Certified Information Security Auditor, and Certified Information Systems Security Professional. Students can benefit by adding one or more of these certifications to their resumes.

The Tech Academy offers an online cybersecurity bootcamp that can be taken either full time or part time. Both options provide the same content, but part-time students have access to the learning management system and instructor assistance for 38 weeks, while the full-time program takes just 20 weeks to complete.

During the bootcamp, students learn about full-stack software and web development, as well as cybersecurity. The program covers computer hardware, coding, computer networks, network security, and VPNs; how to build a secure website; how to create secure apps and software; how to protect databases; and how to protect user data.
