The Hack Reactor coding bootcamp covers computer science fundamentals, as well as full-stack development using JavaScript. Hack Reactor Admissions Process
Hack Reactor’s admissions process starts with creating an online account. After creating an account, you can submit your application and begin your optional prep work.
Hack Reactor offers two options for its prep work: free or premium. The premium version costs $250 and includes real-time support from teaching assistants during the bootcamp’s regular class hours. Students who pay for the premium option and later enroll in the Hack Reactor bootcamp receive a $250 tuition discount.
After submitting their application, prospective students must take a coding challenge and complete a technical admissions assessment. This assessment involves using functions to solve problems in JavaScript. Applicants can take the assessment up to three times.
If you pass the assessment, you can then sign an enrollment agreement and pay a tuition deposit to secure your seat in the bootcamp.
Hack Reactor Payment Options
Hack Reactor offers the following payment options: upfront payment, payment in two installments, loans, scholarships, GI Bill, VET TEC, and an income share agreement.
Service members and veterans can use their GI Bill benefits or take advantage of the VET TEC program to pay for their Hack Reactor bootcamp. The VET TEC program covers approved bootcamps for individuals who are eligible for the GI Bill, without using up any GI Bill funding.
