Darlene Earnest is a copy editor for BestColleges, primarily working with the news team. She has had an extensive editing career, working at several news organizations including The Virginian-Pilot, The Atlanta Journal-Constitution, and WABE — an NPR station serving Atlanta.
Darlene also has completed programs for editors offered by the Dow Jones News Fund and the Maynard Institute for Journalism Education.
Darlene has a BA in journalism from Kent State University.
