Maria Lazaro is a first-generation college graduate and bootcamp student. Lazaro attended Sacramento State University and earned a BA in sociology. Postgrad, she worked within association management but soon realized it was not a long-term career she wanted to pursue. She chased the opportunity to continue learning and find new challenges that would energize and even stump her. She found this in software development.
Today, she is a software engineering student who aims to join a strong team of developers and provide support and a voice for the bootcamp community.
